Privacy Policy

Cozy Camp: Tents & Trees ("the game") is a puzzle game made by an independent developer ("we"). This policy explains what information the game handles and why. The short version: the game has no accounts, never asks for your name or email, and keeps your progress on your own device. Ads are shown by Google AdMob, and purchases are handled by Google Play.

Information stored on your device

Your levels, acorns, camp decorations, settings and a record of your purchases are saved only on your device. We do not receive them. On Android, the system may include this data in your device's backup to your Google account, under your own backup settings. You can delete it by uninstalling the game; "Reset progress" in Settings resets your trail and camp.

Ads (Google AdMob)

The game shows only rewarded video ads, and only when you choose to watch one (for example, for extra acorns or a hint). The ads are provided by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads and to prevent fraud, Google may collect and process information such as your device's advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, and how you interact with ads. Where you have agreed, this can be used to show ads that are more relevant to you.

• In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland (and other places where it is required), the game asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalised ads are shown. You can change your choice at any time under Settings › Ad privacy choices.
• You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device settings (Android: Settings › Google › Ads).

Purchases (Google Play)

Acorn packs and the Camp Supporter are bought through Google Play. Payment details go to Google only; we never see them. The game receives a purchase confirmation from Google Play so it can deliver what you bought, and keeps that record on your device. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

What we don't do

• We don't run our own servers for the game, and we don't collect analytics or crash reports.
• We don't sell your information or share it with anyone besides the Google services above.
• The game asks for no device permissions such as location, contacts, camera or microphone.

Children

The game is meant for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the game, contact us and we will help remove it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or US state laws), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to its use. Since we hold no personal information about you, most requests are answered by Google for ad and purchase data; we are happy to help you with any request, though.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new effective date.
